The front and back pages are gauffered but both covers are faded and discoloured in places, more towards the edge. The title is located on the spine and is written as a half title. This is illuminated in gold. On the inside of the front cover, the previous library has reinforced the book with card and there is a sticker displaying an emblum and the previous owners name. Opposite the title page, there is a colour pictorial photograph protected by a sheet of vellum so to prevent discolouration. This book has hardback covers.
