None. Good Only. 'William and his Uncle Ben A Tale Designed for the Use of Young People' by Mrs. Hofland. With half title, illustrated second title and engraved frontispiece but with title absent. Barbara Hofland (1770-1844) was an English writer of some sixty-six didactic, moral stories for children, and of schoolbooks and poetry. Previous owner's ink inscription to front pastedown. In a quarter crushed morocco binding with marbled paper boards. Externally, sound but with some wear to extremities, rubbing and marks to boards and some loss to paper to boards. Front free endpaper and title absent. Joints strained. Internally, firmly bound. Bright and generally clean but with slight scattered foxing, handling marks and odd small ink stains. Good Only.
