This is a training book for US Navy officers in WWII. The information itself is interesting, but so is the writing style. Its a real insight into the people and times. I bought it for tech research, but find it enjoyable as history too. Obviously not for everyone, but I consider it, along with the 1940 (or any yr in that handful of WWII years) Bluejackets Manual(enlisted sailor training) amazing treasures, rich in so much. AND they were only about $8-10!
