Originally published under the title of Comanche Captives, and filmed under this title starring Richard Widmark and James Stewart, a fine film, this Will Cook creation is one of the best novels he ever produced and one of the finest ever written. This book can also be found as the "center" section of a more recent compilation of Mr. Cook's work, Until Day Breaks, part one of a Texas Saga Trilogy.
