truth is stranger than fiction
Edgar Cayce was a real person that had extraordinary clairvoyant powers to heal the sick. His gifts were so great that I would not believe them it it were not all documented in the local newspapers and in magazine articles of the day. His gifts were triggered by using self-hypnosis. He had a secretary that took down, in shorthand, everything he said under hypnosis, because when he awoke, he could remember nothing of what he said. These shorthand notes were called "readings", and they were all saved for futher reference. There are thousands of these readings. If you want to expand your mind, this is a book that you must read and contemplate.

Edgar Cayce and the Gift from God
I found this to be an honest, and candid story about a man that was truly blessed with a gift. He was a Godly man, sharing his gift with all who came to him, without self rightiousness, and without arrogance. In humility he dedicated his life to God, and to helping others. Edgar Cayce lived, and he died, and all that remains are the records of what he did to help others. I found it a very interesting story of a humble man that could have made his gift very lucretive. He had a following. He could have made a new religion, a new church, instead, he chose a humble life. He dedicated himself and his physic gift to God, and did only good within his humble life. He died faithful and true, without fame or fortune. He was a Godly man, and gave God the Glory for all he did.
