Very much under the influence of Dinah Washington at this point, Wilson is in generally good form particularly on "The Nearness of You," "All Night Long," and "The Things We Did Last Summer." As far as the instrumentals by pianist Shearing's Quintet go, "I Remember Clifford," "Evansville," "Blue Lou," and "Lullaby of Birdland" are most memorable with short solos heard from vibraphonist Warren Chiasson and guitarist Dick Garcia.
