There are some really good concepts in this book, but because it was written so long ago (first edition 1589) there is a lot of fire and brimstone. I don't look at God as a punishing machine, and we are more than worms on the earth.
The book is worth plowing through to get insight into darkness and temptation.
It is not an easy read, but I'm glad I did, and I'm glad I'm done :)
