A beautifully written parable that draws the reader in. Written by Eleanor Hull and illustrated by Arthur Polonsky this book is difficult to put down. It is about Seth, the son of a pharisee, and is set in Jesus' time. Seth's father is asked by the council to go to Galilee to investigate Jesus. Along the way and in Galilee Seth meets people that change him, teach him to be honest, kind to his enemies, not to kill, and to judge others by their actions and not by appearances. The artistic 60's style illutrations are wonderful and aid the storyline. Great book.
