Segovia never hesitated to play transcriptions, and many of his performances of pieces originally written for violin or cello -- such as Bach's suites and partitas -- reveal extraordinary sonorities and new musical insights. Such is his rendition of Pavanes (6) from Milán's Libro de musica de vihuela de mano intitulado "El maestro."
