This is a wonderful account of Mike Leonard's cross country road trip with his aging parents, three adult children, and a daughter-in-law. This journey takes them from Phoenix, AZ (where they pick up his parents) to Chicago, IL. There are many laughable and poignment situations encountered. Mike Leonard is a terrific writer. You'll feel like you are traveling in the RV with them!

Family Fun
This book is a very easy read chronicleing the lives of the Leonard family during their trip from Phoenix to Chicago. This trip is taken in two RV's and includes members of three generations. Mike Leonard gives an amusing account of the many adventures along the way while giving us background of his years as a child growing up with two brothers having the time of their lives. Getting to know his parents, who are absolutely charming, feisty and fun is reason enough to read and enjoy this book.
