It's an adult Little House on the Prairie
This is an adult Little House on the Prairie that takes you back to time and place. When you think of quilting you think of leisure but not so on the homestead. The view of the woman in a struggle everyday to define her role in society and if she will let it be defined for her. This is not your soft "quilting" fiction. You appreciate quilts today after reading what was endured when they were made. The quilt is actually just a back drop for a wonderful story. This is really something to sink your teeth into.

SHORT FOLKSY TALE OF A GROUP OF WOMEN WHO BELONG TO A QUILTING CIRCLE IN THE MIDWEST DURING THE DEPRESSION. THEY GOSSIP, QUILT AND GOSSIP SOME MORE ABOUT RESIDENTS IN THE TOWN. THERE IS ALSO A MYSTERY THROWN IN TO SPICE THINGS UP. REALLY GOOD BOOK BY AN EXCELLENT AUTHOR.
