Good. No Dust Jacket. Book Likely First Edition with title page and ads in rear dated 1875. Tightly bound in red pebbled cloth with gold titles. The binding shows chipping at the spine head and overall shelf wear, front inner hinge is slightly separating. Three very good folding maps and four city plans are present, Map #2 (Newfoundland and Labrador) is missing and Map #1 (Maritime Provinces) has one 4 1/2" closed tear. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. A handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp on the title page and some of the internal pages.
