The Cross - An Awesome Cantata
I belong to the choir at church and we are currently practicing "The Cross - Where God's Grace Meets Our Needs," created by Kimberly R. Messer. This is a dramatic easter musical, combining songs with acting. The songs are a mix of upbeat and slower songs. There are solos and a trio - so there are songs for everyone!
This drama is easily adjusted to the members who are involved. We have chosen actors for the acting parts - but those same people are not doing the solos associated with their parts. That way, more people can participate.
This is a very heartfelt, joyous musical which I would recommend to anyone. The stories which are told by the actors are touching and so real. The songs and dramas are written so as to take you into the scene and song. Amazing!
