In the early twentieth-century he wrote approximately 115 stories for the Stratemeyer Syndicate, writing for series including the Radio Boys, the Rushton Boys, Bobby Blake, Bomba the Jungle Boy, Don Sturdy, Baseball Joe and the Ted Scott series.
