I adopted Piwacket when he was 7 months old. He had been staring at me the entire time I was in the adoption center interviewing other cats. At the end of the day, I knew I had to have him; he was my furry soul mate. My friend, also wanting a cat companion, adopted Sammie, she was 6 months old. Due to the death of my friends husband shortly thereafter, Sammie came to live with me. She has been a hilarious part of our family now for over 7 years. With my camera and sense of humor in hand, The Adventures of Piwacket, Sammie and Friends was born. This is a picture book geared for kids and I have no doubt that adults will enjoy meeting these two characters as well.
