The CD-ROM set can be used as a multimedia supplement to any beginning or intermediate level Spanish textbook. The additional vocabulary and grammar practice, and cultural and literary readings. Useful marginal notes direct students to complete activities in the textbook before completing corresponding sections on the CD-ROM, thus offering support while also creating a strong link between the printed and multimedia components. Recreations of the "storyboards" from the CD-ROM within the textbook allow students to work with the story line in class, which promotes discussion of the same with other students and enhances the development of conversational skills. Interesting cultural and literary readings in each chapter complement the cultural coverage presented in the CD-ROM and help further develop reading comprehension skills.
