Yes, there's a song on here titled "Jingle Bell Rock," but all the rest (20 songs) are for folks who like their holidays in church and/or synagogue. A few of these I'd never heard before on any CD: Huron Carol, Albinoni Adagio, Maoz Tzur, and Dreydl. I'd heard "Sevivon" on Sirius' Classical Holiday (from Turkey Day to Boxing Day usually) which was why I bought the CD, but I really love every piece. My husband, a tuba player who speaks of Mr. Daellenbach as "the greatest tuba player of all time," was the person responsible for introducing me to the Brass (I'm more into Boston and Ormandy), and he's talked about the whimsical nature of the Brass (sneakers with tuxes!); this is the CD you buy to realize they are serious music-makers. Of the 3 Christmas albums of the Brass I own, this is my favorite. Merry Christmas, Hanukkah!
