Get to know yourself

This book is a long time classic of learning to understand yourself by learning your strengths and weaknesses. Dr. LaHaye lays out four types of temperaments that are possible to be born with and usually each of us has a combination of two. Each of these temperaments are listed along with the corresponding strengths and weaknesses. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit believers are led to see how they can be successful in dealing with their weaknesses but not relying in a fleshly way just upon their strengths. Being used of God happens when we each allow God to be in full control of all of our abilities.

A deeper look into your temperament

I loved this book because it helped me to understand better what makes me tick. It also allowed me to be more understanding of my loved ones, because I can now see their struggles and weaknesses in an objective way. This book explains in detail the different kinds of temperaments and how to improve on their weaknesses. Very practical and direct.
