The music on this Naxos release isn't exactly music for wind ensemble by Camille Saint-Saëns, who wrote none, although he did compose a good deal of wind chamber music. Instead, it consists of Saint-Saëns hits and a few more unusual items arranged for wind band. The arrangements are contemporary, and it might have been nice to hear a bit more about the arrangers here.
