All four sections contain approximately 1,000 questions, many presented in case study format. All conform to the format used in dental and dental hygiene board exams. Over 100 contributors representing 40 dental schools provided questions. * Includes approximately 1000 questions, nearly all with accompanying illustrations, for preparation for clinical exams on the National Dental Board level, the Regional Dental Board level, and the State Dental Board level. * Includes up-to-date terminology throughout which appeals to a wide geographic audience of students in general dentistry. * Contains material which has been reviewed by dental specialists who made suggestions and contributed questions to ensure realistic and accurate information. Over 100 contributors representing 40 dental schools provided questions. All previous questions have been carefully reviewed and changes have been made to ensure that each question is expressed accurately. About 350 questions from the previous edition have been replaced. Questions containing dated material have been rewritten to harmonize with current standards of practice. Two new cases have been added to Part IV: Case Analysis. Reordering of questions and moving section on Infection control/AIDS to Part I for a more logical sequence. 150 new halftones.
