He also provides detailed information on human anatomy. The poem covered in this book was a unique in style and story. Happened in the reign of Abu Ja'fer al Mansur, the Abbasid Khalifa. The selection of this poem and some of al Asma'i's stories are in the process of Ihyaa al Turath al Arabi fil Mahjar (Revival of Arab Heritage in Diaspora project under: Shakhsiyyat Islamiyyah-Islamic Personalities series sponsored by the Arab American Encyclopedia for the purpose of serving young Arab generations in Diaspora.
