The author set out to write an expose' about nuclear power, but the more she learned, the more she realized that if we are to wean ourselves off of hyrdocarbon power sources and the pollution they cause, we must reconsider nuclear. If you are interested in science and have an open mind, read the book. Easily understood and a real eye-opener. Hint to wind and solar enthusiasts: read about base power and learn why these sources will never replace it.

Fascinating read!
This is a great book! I thought I knew something about nuclear energy but this book increased my knowledge significantly. It draws on Ms. Cravens' direct experience in touring many nuclear plants and labs in the U.S. with a knowledgeable guide. It explodes many myths about the dangers of nuclear power and prepares the reader to weigh the pros and cons of coal, nuclear and "alternative" sources of energy.

Learn the Truth about Energy
This well written, informative book, is a must read. For anyone wanting the truth about, nuclear energy, coal generating, solar power, wind power, hydro power, and any other form of electrical generation read this book. With so much agenda driven news on energy, read this book and learn the truth for yourself. Then you can discern who is telling the truth or pushing their political agenda. It is written in a way that is easy for the lay-man to understand, I highly recommend it.
