Full red polished calf with double gilt-ruled borders, a gilt-decorated spine with gilt-lettered green morocco spine labels, gilt dentelles, pretty marbled endpapers, all edges gilt; xxxvi, 311 pages. The binding is not signed but a previous owner in a pencil note on the verso of the front endpaper attributes it to Leo Weitz in 1964 in New York.
