Oversize hardcover, 8 x 10.3 inches, has black textured paper-covered boards with gold spine and cover lettering. Color and black and white photographs. 112 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped, with another shallow bump at the bottom edge. Very light cover and edge wear. Last few pages have slight tendency to stick together at very bottom edge due to residue from binding glue on back endpaper. Pages clean and unmarked. Color photo-illustrated dust jacket has light edge and surface wear, with light wrinkling at the corners and spine ends. Published in connection with the exhibition held at the National Portrait Gallery from 7 August to 25 October 1981. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
