As Medical Director of the emergency room, Mildred has a lot going on at work. Despite her piles of paperwork, back to back meetings, and tight schedule running the emergency department, her parents are unhappy with how she's running her life. She's over thirty, why hasn't she found a husband and had kids? Uncertain how to tell them she likes women, she ends up drunk at a bar one night, and accidently invites Tory, the sassy blue haired nurse from work, to join her to a family function. How could things end wrong? Mildred has watched Tory work harder than any nurse at the hospital despite obstacles she's had to overcome. She oversees a lot of people, with a lot of big attitudes.
