A Lovely Book
This book was always a favorite of my kids...describes a farm and all its animal inhabitants with beautiful illustrations. The Provensens did a great job. Does cover that some of the animals die...I actually ordered this copy for someone who had just lost a pet.

Classic Children's Read
I first bought this book many years ago to read to my children, and now for my granddaughters. This is a delightful book, filled with interesting characterizations of the various animals, using unique and humorous descriptions and very good illustrations. I would highly recommend this book to you, as well as your children and grandchildren!

Great Kids Book
I purchased this book for two of my grandchildren because their parents had loved it as a child. It is as wonderful now as it was then. This author certainly understands the animals she writes about. This book is probably for children with a little longer attention span if you actually want to do more than look at the pictures. I would recommend this book to you!
