The premise of the book is the cataclysmic aftermath of several nuclear air blasts and the resultant chaos. Very thought provoking. It is also a story about how thin the veneer of civilization actually is.

This book tells the gripping impact and story of what would happen in the U. S. if an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) were to hit. How would this affect a middle-class family such as yourself ? This has caused the Pentagon to re-evaluate and discus the widespread devastation of the U.S. when this occurs. The author, William Forestchen included a family, EMP, and a small geographical area. All elements of a nation and people are weaved together touching things we could never imagine. The first one third of this book introduces characters, and explodes into a high action thriller. It includes things that our mind would never consider happening. He has written a truly insightful book that everyone should read time our world is at odds concerning several countries. I encourage all people to enhance their awareness, be prepared, and read this for your future as well as your childrens
