His voice is passionate and disturbingly prophetic, delving into issues of identity and ownership against a background of irrevocable change in the landscape of St. Lucia and the wider Caribbean. Adrian Augier is an award-winning poet and theatre producer from St Lucia. He is the 2010 Caribbean Laureate for Arts and Letters, as awarded by the ANSA Foundation.
