We wanted a book to find out what kinds of birds are visiting our backyard. This is not the book. It is way too hard to try to find the birds by picture in this book. We found none.

Great reference book
This book came in like new condition and has side tabs that make it easy to look for species of bird you are looking for.

This book was what I expected. However, it is a large, heavy book. It was shipped in a very weak wrapper. It was not much more that a large envelope. Unfortunately, this beautiful arrived bent and crushed. Just too costly to reship so I kept it.

Great Bargains can be found on the 4th Edition
My mom had the 4th edition of this book and it was somehow lost or misplaced. As a surprise, I ordered a used one for her. My wife and I also ordered one for our home. I did not expect them to be in the best of shape since they were used. To my surprise, they were in excellent shape (just a small red dot on the bottom). It was an outstanding value also. Two used books and shipping was less than half the cover price of a new book!
