Sample that aria, "Da schliegt die Abschiedsstunde", which was written for Mozart's sister-in-law and former girlfriend Aloysia Weber. Of course it's impossible to know what she and the other singers described in Karl Böhmer's booklet notes sounded like, but what Mühlemann captures here is the element of playful display that a soprano at the time would have been looking for.
