This is a very heartwarming TV movie. I've come to admire Anna Chlumsky in recent years (save for R-rated films), and she is excellent in this film. She seems a bit uncomfortable early on, but settles down as the movie goes on. The plot is very powerful, and will even make you tear up in some places. I would recommend this film to anyone!
