Good. Introduction by Rev. John Todd. Ornate decorated gilt embossed stamped cloth, gilt titles. No DJ. No markings in book. Foxing to some pages. About 4 pages in rear of book have come loose. Stitched binding is right but there are a few pages in center of book that are loosening. Henry Kirke White was a Nottingham poet who drew inspiration for much of his poetry from Wilford and Clifton. By 1804 after he had published his volume of poems entitled 'Clifton Grove, A Sketch In Verse With Other Poems'

Also included in this volume is "Account of the Life of Henry Kirke White, " by Robert Southey, the author's first editor.
