Size: 0x0x0; 1989 Surrey Beatty & Sons (Chipping Norton, Australia), 8 5/8 x 12 inches tall b rown cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, gilt lettering to front cover and spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white and color photographs and drawings, vi, 457-835 pp. Slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with mild bumping to all four tips and the lower edge of the front cover. Blind emboss name stamp to lower margin of title page from the prior owner, Dr. Jim Dolan, who served as General Curator at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park for decades. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy-clean, bright and unmarked-in a slightly edgeworn dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve.
