There isn't too much to say about this book if you are at all familiar with Mercer Mayer's quiet charm and the innocence of his books.
Basically, this story is about the critter who owns a puppy and all the friendship and sharing times he has with him. The illustrations are very cute. This book leaves you with a warm charmed feeling. A great Mercer Mayer book that I would recommend to any child or their parent or the adult (like me) who just loves children's books and illustrations even when their children have outgrown it.
