Bought a few of these for my nephew for Christmas.
I bought several of these books for my nephew for Christmas. He likes this series so it was a no-brainer. It is about Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, vikings and dragons. Personally, after reading a few chapters, I find them to over-use adjectives ALOT. My nephew who is into ghosts, dragons and fantasy can't get enough of these books. My son who is not into fantasy -and is more into getting into the story - is quickly bored by these books. I would recommend this series if you have an elementary age child who enjoys fantasy.
