Very Good. No Jacket. Size: 8vo-over 7.75"-9.75" tall; 1st edition hardcover in red cloth boards with bright illustration of foxhound carrying the mask. Spine ends rubbed including a half inch of missing cloth at head of spine. Gilt title remains legible. Tips bumped and rubbed but remains presentable as a very rare offering. Former owner's name stamp on frt pastedn, 88 pp text crisp and unmarked save for one smoke mark in the gutter of one pp. 22 b/w reproduction plates on glossy text are all present.
