Kunstler is a self-described 'shapely' writer and this book is an extremely readable page-turner about a distressing subject that keeps getting worse - the hideous urban/suburban environment that we labor under here in Freedom's Land. JHK is obviously seriously infatuated with Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk (or the precious Lizz) as her name appears about 5,000 times. Question is, with all these incredible geniuses running about, why does our country continue to look like a devastated wasteland?
