Hunter S. Thompson died in 2005.

The Father of Gonzo Journalism gives a fasincating and readable account of the inner workings, and the outer fear and loathing in which the nation's #1 outlaw motorcycle gang is held.
Hunter Thompson had the nerves of steel and disregard for life and limb requisite for running with the Angels in the early/mid 1960s. Many would like to hang with these denizens of destruction, but few have the moxie to keep up like this author.
For an authentic taste of what it was like to scream down the highway with dozens of fellow freaks on Loud Hogs, this account is the Real Deal. Stream of Consciousness narrative style gives this book a grippingly personal feel that enhances the reader's ability to fully experience what it was like to be an Angel.
Caveat: Strong language throughout which should surprise no one.
