Realistic
What I really like about this book is that the author is writing from practical experience, trying to juggle a multitude of life's demands and still trying to maintain an intimate relationship with God. I have read a lot of very insightful books to help in your walk with the Lord, but most are written by people who's full time occupation is working for God. Therefore their theory's are all very nice, and accurate, but do not address the fundamental issues that most christians work 'in the world', come into daily contact with non-believers, and struggle to maintain a balance between getting 'all the mundane jobs done' and spending time in Prayer, Worship, Praise and Study. This book gives very practical guidlines of how to achieve a full, meaningful relationship with Jesus whilst dealing with the distractions of everyday life.

Sick of the pointless bid for self-approval
If trying too hard is taking up too much of your time, you might be a Martha. If you're hard on yourself and expect much of others, you might be a Martha. If it's getting a bit old, you might want to read this book.
