The translators of the King James Version did not rely on a single edition of the Textus Receptus but instead they incorporated readings from multiple editions of the Textus Receptus, including those by Erasmus, Stephanus, and Beza. Thus, Scrivener's Textus Receptus resulted in a Greek text which, although rooted in the tradition of the Textus receptus, is uniquely aligned with the particular readings of the Authorized King James Version.
