Was grabbed firmly by the nape of my imagination and drug voluntarily into this wonderful and imaginative narrative which from the first chapter forward never once gave me the slightest opportunity to put it down and move away from it.
The author takes us on an adventure inside one of those impossible worlds of the "hereafter" that we've all thought about from time to time in our lives and has been speculated on from time immemorial.
If you are like me you'll frazzle your mind trying to anticipate the next twist or turn in the protagonist's "life after death" adventure.
Brilliant and lit from the inside out, the characters are real and believable and share with us a juicy slice of their humanity.

Elsewhere, makes dead seem fun!
This is most definately one of my favorite books, it kept me reading each time more and more withoput stopping, it just shows you such aa original alternative in what we though dead could be.
I even felt this book was as realistic as a book about the otherworld could get, and it really helps you to aprreciate the way you look at things, or the way you get things for granted.
I enjoy the way this book was written i would totally recommend this book to all kinds of readers.

Living life (or, rather, death) to it's fullest
15 year old Liz gets hit by a car while out shopping for a prom dress. When she first wakes up, things don't make sense, but she eventually realizes she's dead, and in a place called Elsewhere.
Then the realization sets in that she'll never fall in love, never get her driver's license, and never see her family again. She wastes her days on the observation deck where people can peek into the lives of their living loved ones.
It takes Liz's dead grandmother to show Liz that death is worth living and that it's possible to have all the things she thought she'd lost even if she's going to have to live her life backwards.
A great young adult (and adult) story about living life (or death) to the fullest.
