The 'illustrations' are few and are very minimal... just enough outline to be called an illustration. There are 11 pages of color photos with 4 per page. Again, save your money on this book...
According to the bibliography, some of the information she used comes from mere articles in magazines years old. I would want to validate the information in this book with more current scientific data...
