Michael Moore is on a mission: regime change. The man who slithered into the White House on tracks greased by his daddy's oil buddies is one of many targets in Moore's blistering follow-up to his smash #1 hit STUPID WHITE MEN, the biggest-selling nonfiction book of the year. Now no one is safe: corporate barons who have bilked millions out of their employees' lifetime savings, legislators who have stripped away our civil liberties in the name of "homeland security," and even that right-wing brother-in-law of yours (yes, we all have one) who manages, year after year, through his babbling idiocy, to ruin Thanksgiving dinner. Fearless, funny and furious, Michael Moore's new book is the call to arms we've all been waiting for, the kind of book that comes along once every so often that rallies the citizens with humor and insight - and changes the course of the country.

Very strong research, and entertaining
Although there are some things in this book that might offend some (some foul language, some well-intentioned, but demeaning references to God, etc.), overall Michael Moore proves that his "pen" is just as mighty as his screenplay. He discusses various problems that have, in his view, essentially destroyed the United States, and convincingly shows the reader how corrupt high-level government really can be (especially in chapter 7).
His bush-bashing is equally, if not more, prevalent here than in Farenheit 9/11. He also makes the point that "fear" is a great tool that has been used constantly by the media since 9/11.
Good book, and great attention to detail -- despite the seemingly immature theme (the title, cover illustration, general writing style, etc.). But, as is always the case with such liberal free-thinking types, conservative readers should proceed with caution.
