It is fun for the kids to be the ones saying 'no' for a change.... and they take the responsibility very seriously.

An Award Winning Children's Book
Mo Willems won a major award for this book. It is funny, but packs a message about dealing with peer pressure. The bus driver has to briefly leave the bus and tells the children that he'll be back soon and they will be fine, but to be sure not to let the pigeon drive the bus. Sure enough, along come a conniving pigeon who begs, whines, etc., with lots of reasons why he should be allowed to drive the bus. Young readers soon join in with a hearty '"NO!"
I've given dozens of this book to youngsters.

cute idea - well done
I think this would capture the imagination of 3 to 4 year olds.

Pigeon is awesome!
My six-year-old son can't get enough of the Pigeon books. We both love to read them aloud and do the "voice" as Pigeon gets more and more frustrated when told "no."

This book is wonderful for children and adults! Simple and funny. All of Mo Willems books are beyond compare. The pigeon has lots of adventures....each one a separate book - and they're all great.
