scary but pointless
The book was suspenseful, but he main charactor repeatedly acted with no sense. I was competely unable to identify with the main charactor in anyway.

Great Book
This book was very good. I have been watching Bones for a long time but never knew there was a series based on her character. It is, however, nothing at all like the show.

Not Bad
I read this book because I liked the tv series, Bones. Of course, the series is not like the book. It was pretty good; definitely better than Patricia Cornwell's books I've read. I might read another Reichs book, but I'm not drooling for more.

Wonderful Debut Book
I'm an avid reader, and have been on a mystery/thriller/etc jag for the past year. I've gone through several authors' series, from new to the old classics. Kathy Reichs caught my eye, as the one thing I demand is authenticity of procedure, and since she is a forensic anthropologist in real life I would expect authenticity. I understand exaggeration of individual characters, but realty must be there. (The tv show CSI, as far as I'm concerned, is ridiculous for this very reason). Kathy Reichs' "Deja Dead" meets this with a bang! Authentic, real, with interesting characters and a wonderful lead of Dr. Tempe Brennan, I'm thrilled to find this series. Keeps the reader absorbed, and guessing what will happen next. I can't wait to read her next book!
