Excellent book about the real Daniel Boone! He truly was an amazing man of great courage and integrity. You will find out he was not the Indian killer that legend has made him out to be but a man with a peaceful Quaker upbringing.

Daniel Boone was a facinating book to read. It was required reading for a Westward Expansion class I'm taking in college, but it was written in a form so that I could easily pick up on main themes. The book was in excellent condition when i received it, and I would suggest to anyone looking for textbooks or any books to check with Alibris first
