PLOT: Two lovers who love for their mutual interest in matters which decimate affairs of the heart, practice at ruining people lives by playing games with those unfortunates' Psychies. RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 8 of 10; The dialogue, the character development, the costuming, the acting and the locations are all enthralling (as is the subject matter). At times the dis-synchronicity of the two languages, French and English can be seen in the translation dubbing (But the cast is to be commended for their part in that aspect) At times, knowing they are speaking a different language as the film goes on, you can pay attention to the nuances of the actor's presentations and gesturing which all add to this successful story telling.
DVD BONUS: Brief Filmographies, production still photographs and an assortment of C. Deneuve movie trailers.
ADDED NOTES: This film takes place in Paris and the French Riviera mostly and you think you are there, but the credits show that much of the filming was done in England and Canada. Amazing!
