Ramblin' Thomas is the better known artist on this 16 song collection, but Babyface Thomas has eight songs featured, recorded for the Houston-based Freedom label in 1949. His music is more upbeat and playful than that of Ramblin' Thomas, with no slide playing, but a very nimble technique.
