I already had a hardcover copy of this Bible. I ordered a paperback, so I didn't have to worry about how it looked when I carried it around in my car. I ended up giving it away to a friend, who has now taken it on a thousand mile vacation trip. She carries it around with her everywhere. That's a pretty good endorsement. I found one thing that could have been better in this edition: the Daily Reading Guide (a detachable insert) misses a few chapters as the year goes on (such as Deuteronomy 34). But what I like about it is that this is a Daily Reading Bible that doesn't edit the Bible into daily reading units, as the One Year Bible does. You still read four chapters per day (two Old Testament, one Psalm, and one New Testament). And it takes you through the whole Bible in a year. It takes me 10-15 minutes of reading time per day.
