Seller's Description:
Very Good+ No Jacket. Hardcover. 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall. Minor edge and corner wear, lightly scuffed, corners are very gently rubbed, lightly shelf worn, overall a very crisp and clean first edition, gift quality! Very very scarce and hard-to-find! Pictorial cover front and back. Extremely rare and out-of-print! Unpaginated, beautifully illustrated with full-color photographs! "As I was lifted up over Crcow by this small biplane, I not only could look down at the city from a great height, but also was able to recount the experiences that bonded me to this once walled city for the last half century. It was probably the second point of view that I considered more important, as I recognized the familiar silhouettes of the buildings within the mosaic of rooftops, squares and streets far below me. Forms that accompanied me since my childhood: the Norbertine Convent, the Wawel Hill, Bielany, Tyniec, and the Kosciuszko Mound. I had no intention, whatsoever, of discovering a new Cracow, but rather reliving 'my' Old Cracow....."
